Umělecký skleněný objekt Kosmír je završením architektonického řešení rekonstrukce vstupu do letního kina v Rakovníku. Je sestaven ze čtyř shodných trojúhelníkovitých segmentů z čirého kaleného plochého reflexního skla Stopsol, se zatavenou dichromatickou folií.

Umělecké ztvárnění objektu Kosmír plně využívá a kombinuje vizuální světelné a optické vlastnosti skla ve veřejném prostoru. Citlivým a střídmým provedením poutá pozornost změnami denního i ročního rytmu a aktivně rezonuje s místem, pro které byl vytvořen.

Kosmír is a glass installation — a culminating feature of the newly renovated entrance to the open-air cinema in Rakovník. It consists of four identical triangular segments made of clear tempered flat reflective Stopsol glass, with a sealed dichromatic foil.

The artistic concept of the Kosmír installation fully exploits and combines the visual, light and optical properties of glass in public space. With its subtle and restrained design, it captures attention through the shifting rhythms of day and season, maintaining a living dialogue with the site it was created for.
